The owner of the Studio Grill was an artist and the décor of Studio Grill was enhanced by his original paintings displayed on the walls.  In the '80s, there were always fresh flowers on the tables.  Following is the chef’s favorite recipe for Tuscan Pasta Sauce.

 

TUSCAN PASTA SAUCE

Serves 8 people.

1     cup chopped snails

1-1/2 cups chopped veal

3     tablespoons oregano

1/2  cup butter

3     cups whipping cream

1/4  cup lemon juice

Cook snails, veal and oregano in 1/2 cup butter.  Add cream and lemon juice to the above.  Pour over pasta cooked al dente and serve.
